Although when most mention Korea, some's thoughts lead straight to North Korea, there is the whole other South side of the country that has it's own charms
and is definitely worth visiting. After recently finding out my dad's side of the family came from Korean descent, I went straight to research about the place.
I've already fallen in love with their food such as their BBQ and Bimbimbap, so when I found out all the attractions in the country, I was intrigued! Ever since
then, I have been wanting to visit Korea and see all their appeals in person. I have some current family who lives there, so my stay would probably be with them,
but my main priority isn't the stay nor the food-it's the entertainment such as Lotte World and Namsan Tower.
Lotte World
One of the most popular tourist attractions of South Korea is Lotte World! If the other side of the world had a different version of Disney Land, this place would
be it. Lotte World is a large amusement park with indoors and outdoors areas- both of which including a variety of rides. From rollercoasters, to rocking ships, to
fast spinning wheels of practically death, you'd have just as much fun here like in Six Flags. Despite the indoors winning largest indoor theme park in the world, the
outdoors 'Magic Island' is still something not to miss as well. With a large castle just like Disney's, surrounded by more rides and bright lights, it's something not
to be missed. Lotte World runs all year round right in the famous province of Seoul.
Namsan Tower
Also lying in the famous Seoul, Namsan Tower -aka N Seoul Tower- is an observation tower that marks the highest point in Seoul. Built in 1971, the N Seoul Tower is Korea's
first general radio wave tower, providing TV and radio broadcasting. However, it's a well-known spot for tourists. First, you ride a cable car to reach the tower and many
who has rode in it, were amazed by the overview it has of the city. Breath-taking, and scenic definitely falls in it's descriptive category. Due to the magnificent view,
it's a sight where most photographers will take advantage of, especially during the night when the city is all lit up under the dark sky. Once you've comprehended the view,
the tower also offers many recreations as well as it's revolving restaurant. Additionally many visitors have this tradition where they'd buy a lock, write a little message on it,
lock the lock in a special area, and then throw away the key. All in all, Namsan Tower is quite the experience.
