K-drama

K-dramas are also a big part of the Hallyu Wave. They feature your favorite actors/actresses, and sometimes even artists. Below is a variation of K-dramas, but all well acclaimed.

In 1983, the South Korean president and his delegates are visiting Burma when a bomb planted by North Korean agents explodes, killing some high-ranking officials. To strike back, five South Korean officials plan a covert operation, codenamed "Operation Cleansweep," to enter North Korea and kill several top members of the North's high command. Lee Jin-pyo and Park Moo-yul, two Presidential Security Service bodyguards and best friends who were present at the bombing, organize a 21-man team for the mission. However, as the team wreaks havoc in Pyongyang, the five officials abort the plan to avoid an international crisis if the mission is discovered. They plan the death of those 21 men. Park ended up sacrificing his life to save Lee.

Promising to avenge his fallen comrades, Lee Jin-pyo kidnaps Moo-yul's infant son. He fleas and raises Lee Yoon-sung as his son, to be a fighter and weapon. Seven years later, also as a graduate from MIT, Lee Yoon-sung enters the blue house, ready to start his series of revenge.

He was warned by his father not to fall in love or expose his identity. The plot takes off after Lee meets bodyguard Kim Na-na and he realizes that he and his father might not have the same thought in mind....

Go Mi Nyu has lived at an orphanage with her twin brother, Go Mi Nam, since childhood, after their father passed away. Years later, her brother becomes a music idol, and Mi Nyu lives in junior nun dorm to reach her dream of becoming a nun. Her idol twin brother Mi Nam, successfully wins the "A*N Entertaiment" vocal auditions for musical band "A*N.JELL", but Mi Nam must leave in order to correct his botched plastic surgery in the United States. Ma Hoon Yi (Mi Nam's manager, played by Kim In Kwon) approaches Mi Nyu to pose as Mi Nam while he recovers. Mi Nyu is against it at first, but agrees in order to find their mother. Mi Nyu posing as Mi Nam joins the band (A*N.JELL) and meets its members: Hwang Tae Kyung (Jang Geun Suk), Kang Shin Woo (Jung Yong-hwa) and Jeremy (Lee Hongki).

Even with the difficulties, it should be fine as long as Mi Nam comes back. Problem starts when Tae Kyung discovers Mi Nyu's sercret and threatens to reveal it.
